Track 01: Foundation (Adapt & Create)
The starting point for every operational team, and the most widely deployed track in the programme. Teams learn AI basics, how to navigate the AI ecosystem across GPT, Claude, Gemini, and Copilot, and how to apply the AAAI prompting framework to the 4 AI Superpowers. Four modules take teams from foundational fluency through data analysis, aggregation, and report generation, content creation and ideation, all the way to building custom workflows and reusable prompt templates for their specific function. Operations, Finance, HR, Sales, Marketing, Legal, Customer Service, and IT. Every department. Every level. Delivered as four 90-minute sessions, a full-day onsite, or a 4-week Certified Digital Practitioner (CDP) Professional Learning Programme at NQF 4 (SAQA ID 1303). By the end, your teams have practical AI fluency they can use immediately, not just awareness they'll forget by Monday.
Track 02: Microsoft Copilot (Work Modernisation)
For organisations running on the Microsoft ecosystem, this track unlocks what most teams are leaving on the table. Four progressive levels covering modern workplace foundations, AI-powered productivity, and automation with Power Automate. But the real value is in what comes next: Microsoft Copilot Studio, where your teams learn to build custom AI agents without code, automating workflows across HR, sales, finance, and operations. And Microsoft Agent 365, which gives leaders a unified view of every agent running across the business, with full governance and oversight built in. Delivered as four 90-minute sessions, a full-day onsite, or a 4-week Certified Digital Practitioner (CDP) Professional Learning Programme at NQF 4 (SAQA ID 1303). The result: faster outputs, fewer manual processes, and a team that doesn't just use Copilot but builds with it.
Track 03: Strategic Leadership (Lead & Innovate)
Built for executives, senior managers, and the cross-functional and departmental teams responsible for driving AI adoption across the business. Four sessions covering AI demystification, strategic frameworks, use case prioritisation linked to ROI, governance basics, and building an executable AI roadmap with a real investment case. Participants leave with practical tools they can apply immediately, not slide decks that sit in a folder. Delivered as four 90-minute sessions, a full-day onsite, or a 4-week Certified Digital Practitioner (CDP) Professional Learning Programme at NQF 4 (SAQA ID 1303). For any team that needs to make informed AI decisions, align on priorities, and move from conversation to action.
Track 04: Governance & Risk Management (Protect & Scale)
Most organisations are deploying AI faster than they are governing it. Track 4 fixes that. Five sessions covering the legal frameworks your business needs to know, including the EU AI Act and POPIA, data classification and cybersecurity, risk management and contracts, incident response and business continuity, and change management and adoption. Teams leave with a mapped AI risk profile, an Acceptable Use Policy framework, Data Loss Prevention protocols, and a RACI matrix for AI incidents. Not theoretical compliance. Practical governance tools your organisation can implement immediately. Delivered as five 90-minute sessions. Critical for legal, compliance, IT, and risk teams, but relevant for every department deploying AI at scale.
Track 05: Responsible AI & Ethics (Integrity by Design)
AI without ethics is a liability. This track covers the FATE principles, Fairness, Accountability, Transparency, Explainability, grounded in real-world case studies from landmark AI failures including Cambridge Analytica, COMPAS, and Amazon's hiring algorithm. Four modular sessions move teams from foundational ethics frameworks through bias detection and harm prevention, red-teaming and mitigation strategies, all the way to building an ethics-ready organisation with review boards, audit trails, and responsible AI policy templates. This learning experience can be expanded to be a certified Professional Learning Programme by delivering through case study pods, 1:1 clinics, scenario labs, and drop-in office hours, making it the most hands-on track in the programme. Relevant across Finance, Marketing, Sales, HR, Operations, Legal, and Product. For organisations that want to deploy AI they can defend to their board, their regulators, and their customers.

You are already paying for training through SDL. Let us help you claim it back.
South African companies with an annual payroll exceeding R500,000 are required to contribute 1% of their payroll as a Skills Development Levy. Most businesses pay it and see nothing back. Every track in the AAAI AI Accelerator is structured to help you recover those contributions. By submitting your Workplace Skills Plan and Annual Training Report to your SETA, you can claim back up to 20% of your SDL through Mandatory Grants, with further Discretionary Grant funding available for qualifying programmes, and our AI Training programmes are qualifying. AI training is a smart way to put your SDL to work.
Whether you are just getting started or wish to accelerate your AI journey, AAAI can help.
